—
"Jeannette se change la vie" is a collaboration between the museum of LaM, Lille Métropole Museum of Modern Art, Contemporary Art and Art Brut, and Mes Mains en Or, Associative book publishing house for visually impaired children.
For this project, I designed the Braille layout and large print, as well as prototype tactile illustrations, art direction and cover illustration.
Through an educational tale, the visually impaired child follows Jeannette, a character directly inspired by the work of Sophie Savoye, to discover the Lam Museum..
Co-constructed with the LaM Museum's tour guides, the book addresses 6 different works exhibited in the museum. From contemporary art to art brut and modern art, children discover, in an unprecedented way, artworks by Barry Flanagan, Pascal-Désir Maisonneuve and Georges Braque.
This book, published in 25 numbered copies, is available for consultation at the Musée du LaM.
